My mother taught me to sew and embroider at an early age and I don’t even remember learning it.
Studio Time: finishing my new sculpture called:
'1000 years of knitting socks'
if you think this is a boring subject, just think how uncomfortable life would be without socks.
We are busy clearing up the garden for DAW 2014. I will be opening my studio and displaying my sculptures in the garden. And I will be working on one of my sculptures in the front garden. So if you are interested, I will be answering any questions regarding stonecarving.

I am working on a new group of sculptures called: Skills learned from my mother. I don’t even remember learning to sew, but I know I learned to knit when I was 4. And after that I was allowed to go to needlework classes in the little local school, although the school age in Germany doesn’t start until you are 6. I remember it all vividly.
Been sorting out some photos and found this one of me working at the European Stone Festival in Lincoln, June 2013. One of my highlights last year.
